Hi my 13yr lab has always been active and a gun dog ,she doesn’t work anymore and lately I’ve noticed her being stiff in her back legs when getting up,I’ve always given her condition tablets but decided to try canivet hip and joint ,she is a lab and will eat anything,but NOT THESE,the smell is horrible ,but the ingredients in theses are very good for joints so I am giving them to her,I wish she would just take them but I have to crush them and put them in gravey with her food,she knows that I have put them in her food and it has slowed her down but I will continue to give them to her and see if they do make her feel better,I hope she gets used to the taste,I only gave 3stars as the smell and taste aren’t very nice,I will give another review after a few months

I purchased this product after my dog was diagnosed with ivdd. We put her on these tablets after 6 weeks of crate rest. That was about 8 months ago. At the moment she is fine.
We will keep her on these tablets. Keep our fingers crossed. At the moment she seems to be in good condition. I did research this condition on the Internet and this type of tablet was recommended.

I’ve switched to these after being contacted by Amazon that a previous yu – move order had been found to be counterfeit! My poor dog had been showing signs of terrible discomfort during those 2 months.. thankfully he hadn’t been ill or harmed. What a difference. I admit I was sceptical trying these for my 14 year old cocker who the vet said had hip pain. She would make it upstairs once in a blue moon and would stand on the bottom step and bark her head off as couldn’t get up. She struggled to jump on the sofa too. I doubled the dose for 3weeks and now doing one a day and she makes it upstairs daily and is up and down on the sofa all evening. Money well spent!

My two elderly dogs do not like the taste of these. As they are yellow, they are found easily in the meat. I do get them to take the tablets and I do cut them as they are quite big. To be fair they are probably helping the EBT with his stiffnesss a bit but I am not sure I would buy them again.

Just as good as the ones advertised on TV! 😉 Initially I was dubious about swapping Y-M— for these but Y-M— just got to stupid money! I compared ingredients in both and surprisingly these had more of something than the Y-M—. I decided to give them a go. He’ll be 13 in Feb 2024. He’s as fit as he was before his injury. I do believe that Canivet played a huge part in his recovery.

Seem okay but not had quite the expected impact on my Staffie. Sure, there’s a degree of improvement but I was hoping for more dramatic effects given the marketing! It’s only been 5 weeks though so we’ll keep at it.

We have a couple of large, older dogs and regularly use supplements to keep them active and healthy. There is a very broad range of nutrients and additives in these tablets that address a wide range of common issues with large dogs as they age. Value is very good for 180 tablets and we’ve had no issues with our dogs taking these. I’m very content that we are doing our best for the dogs with these supplements and will be improving their quality of life as they age.

The tablets measure 18 x 9 x 7 mm and are easy to shake out of the 13 cm tall, 7 cm dia., pot. In imperial, that’s about 0.7” long for tablet and about 5” tall for the pot. The pot was relatively easy to open first time, see photos for details. In daily use, the metal cap is easier to grip and undo than its appearance might suggest. Upon receipt, the BBE (Best Before End) date was almost two years ahead.
Dosage; for our 20 kg LabX, the 180 tablets = 90 days supply. Our dog wolfs them down with the rest of his dinner – no problems there. It is encouraging that he’s had no lame-episodes while taking two of these each day and is his usual energetic self while out for a walk/run and he’s just tired, not stiff, afterwards.

For £15, or 8p each, you get 180 crushable tablets providing a number of joint health promoting ingredients that will help keep your pet agile as they age.
Following the guide, we give our dogs two tablets per day, but by crushing these into their food where they have no problem consuming them.
The main ingredients in this are Glucosamine, MSM and Green Lipped Mussel, which are provided in adequate dosages if your dog takes two or more tablets per day. The other ingredients are included in small quantities, but are an added little extra benefit.
I feel as though my dogs are benefitting from these ingredients, and the science does back up the product, and especially with them being just 8p/tablet it is a very insignificant expense for maintaining your dog’s health.
If your dog is aging or has any joint problems, this is a good, effective and very affordable supplement that should do them well.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased the Canivet Hip and Joint supplement. My 10 year old Boxer dog was getting increasingly stiff in his back legs and having trouble getting up after lying down, probably due to his age and the fact that he has previously had ACL surgery on both back legs. He has been on another supplement from a very well know brand for several years but increasingly I didn’t think it was helping him. After looking at the reviews I made the switch and I have to say that in a very short time the stiffness has gone and he is walking a lot better. These do seem to help; I’ve got a 16 year old dog with mobility issues and a five year old GSD with hip problems. I give both of them these tablets. They swallow them, so that’s a bonus as any dog owner will know. I’m not keen on the smell, but I’m not taking them. Very happy with the results both dogs are moving well.

We’ve been giving Daisy mobility supplements like the Canivet joint care tablet since she was hit by a car and tore all the ligaments in her front right elbow. She has now also been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in that joint.
We have used daily supplement products since the accident and we choose to believe in the benefits. Daisy was a hyperactive puppy and thanks to surgery and exercise and the great care we take with her diet she’s a hyperactive 4-year-old most strangers think is still a puppy. But if we skip joint supplements for a day or two her limp can become more obvious.
We’re familiar enough with this type of supplement to recognise that Canivet have made an obvious attempt to hit all the right notes, with familiar favourite ingredients glucosamine, green lipped mussel and MSM alongside new kid on the block turmeric.

Glucosamine is used in the body’s production of tendons, ligaments and cartilage. Chondroitin is a “building block” of cartilage and helps reduce inflammation. In supplements these may help to slow the break-down of cartilage that occurs in osteoarthritis.
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is an anti-inflammatory and turmeric has medically recognised anti-inflammatory properties.
Hyaluronic Acid is supposed to help cushion joints.
Canivet advise 1 tablet per day per 15kg weight, or 265 mg of Glucosamine plus the Glucosamine in the green lipped mussel. This is fairly typical.
For anyone new to these supplements, popular wisdom suggest that you give a higher (double) dose of Glucosamine for 4 weeks to restore “lost reserves”, which means you’ll see the most obvious improvement in those first few weeks. Then you’re into single-dose “maintenance”.

Hip joint care formula tablets seem to be working as my dogs back leg shaked alot because of an accident he had when he was a baby. He seems be be walking and running allot better than he did a few weeks back when he started taken them. He’s more active than he was before and I’m sure it’s because these tablets are doing the job it says in the description. I don’t even need to break the tablets as he seems to eat them in his food without spitting them out which never normally happens with tablets like these. I give my dog 2 tablets which is enough and defiently recommend these for 20 pounds which isn’t a bad price for what they do after a few weeks.

I am very impressed with these. My dog has been on a green lipped mussel supplement for some time now and I take turmeric on a daily basis, this is the first time I had seen a supplement containing both. Blue has hip dysplasia in both hips, but he is still an active dog and loves life with great gusto. I don’t like chemical medication, it causes major problems, vets often prescribe a liquid anti-inflammatory that cause stomach bleeding. The supplements he was using helped him, but these are different class, he isn’t as sore after his walks and wants to play even more. These are cheaper than some of the big brands but really are fantastic. He is happy to take them, no need to hide in his food, he just eats them like treats. Don’t let your dog suffer or get old before their time, these are fantastic.

These Canivet hip and joint care formula tablets are a high-quality supplement for dogs that need support for their joints and mobility. I have three boxer dogs including two oldies who both are getting a bit more creaky in their old-age so I have been supplementing with a similar product for a while now with noticeable results. I was attracted to these because each tablet contains a good dose of glucosamine (265 mg), MSM (210 mg) and green lipped mussel powder (160 mg). On top of this, the tablets contain turmeric – and anti-inflammatory – Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and manganese sulphate. All of these ingredients can work in combination to improve joint mobility, reduce inflammation and lead to more comfortable, happier doggies.
The tablets came in attractive packaging with a security seal under the lid. At time of reviewing 300 tablets cost £26.99 with prime delivery which makes each tablet costs just under 9p which I consider to be great value considering what’s in them. My dogs need two and three tablets each per day – a small price to pay to maintain the quality of life.
You can easily mix season with food, Or if you have a greedy granny like my Cherry, they might gobble them down as a treat!

We have an elderly Jack Russel (20 at the time of writing) who has a lot of back leg and hip stiffness. This is more apparent first thing in the morning and in the winter. We have been giving her various supplements to help but this one is an all in one solution. She has been on it for 10 days now and there are noticeable effects. Noticed that my Chow Was really badly limping on a front leg. Initially thought this was down to a long walk but it wasn’t improving. Spoke to the vet who stated it could be elbow/hip dysplasia which is common in Chows. Recommended some joint supplements before any drastic measures (namely a scan costing £1500!) Ordered these. Started off with x2 in the morning x1 evening and the limping has disappeared. We don’t know whether it’s completely down to the tabs or whether the limping just so happened to subside, but she hasn’t limped since! Reduced her down to 2 tabs a day now and will definitely be continuing with these in the future. So it’s worked for us!

As my oldest dog is nearly 15 and an SBT she needs support, my girl is still very active but it’s all down to turmeric, lipped mussel and anti inflammatory ingredients. It is good to buy and it’s best to start your dog on these young, especially big boned dogs as usually the back legs go first with carrying a lot of weight. My dog loves these tablets and cannot wait to have them each day. In this bottle there are 300 tablets, when starting off, it takes at least six weeks to get into the system, so please do not expect your pet to be jumping through hoops within the first few days. My Staffie is 23k so requires two tablets a day. What is beneficial and does speed up the process is double up the amount a day between 4-6 weeks. You will notice the difference doubling up. Go back to normal usage guidelines after that time. So the tablets strengthen bones, repairs damage, reduces inflammation and loosen up the joints for better mobility. Usually 300 tablets should last approx 9 months, however doubling up will be less the first time of using. It is normal for dogs sometimes can have lipped mussel bad wind, don’t be alarmed, it’s normal, but what isn’t normal, is if they get colicky pain, discontinue if this should happen, and check with your vets. Also if your dog is on a lot of veterinary medications, check with vets that you can use these tablets. Some prescribed medications are not meant to be mixed and can cause contradictions. Best to be safe. These tablets are exceptionally good and will support your dogs immune system. I have used lipped mussel and turmeric for years, and it’s good that the seller is combining the two ingredients.

But I can tell you they do I did as suggested double up for a couple weeks and then you can if you wish drop a tablet off I decided to keep my dog on 2 every morning and his whimpering and crys from when he got from lying down have stopped

I saw the size of the pills and thought these were going to be a problem to get into our 13 1/2yr old Staffie. Why did I worry? He eats them like treats. No idea what is in them that he likes so much but he loves them and will come running when he hears the bottle rattle. We have tried similar supplements befoe to great sucess and we decided to give this brand a go, and GO she did!! She bounces up on the couch. Slowly but surely conquers the stairs (provided a plate of food has gone uupstairs ahead of her!). Shhe can even chase her tail without her nervous back-leg giving out beneath her!

My 8 year old lab has to go in a diet to loose 6kg as his front elbows are taking a strain. With this means less food. So I wanted to make sure he is getting everything he needs.
These are simple to use they have clear instructions on the back with how many you should give your dog depending on their size.
I always put them in with a small amount of wet food on the top to ensure he actually takes them.
They are about the right price for joint supplements.
I definitely feel they have helps and it give me price of mind he’s getting everything he needs!

We decided to try this as an alternative to the (more expensive) supplements our Jack Russells are currently on (14 and 10 years old). Not sure on the long term effects but they certainly seem to do the job so far.
The tablets themselves do not smell, are lozenge shaped so either need to be taken whole or crushed up into food. We had to crush ours up into their breakfast (because even though they’d happily rifle through a garbage can, they couldn’t possibly willingly eat something that was good for them!). Luckily, they haven’t noticed the addition to their food and have had no reactions.
I would recommend to any adult dog- as we found with our eldest it is much better to prevent rather than try and cure. They tablets should last a long time- so you’re spending less money overall than on some of the more expensive brands, which upon closer package inspection, contain the same ingredients!

As my oldest dog is nearly 15 and an SBT she needs support, my girl is still very active but it’s all down to turmeric, lipped mussel and anti inflammatory ingredients. It is good to buy and it’s best to start your dog on these young, especially big boned dogs as usually the back legs go first with carrying a lot of weight. My dog loves these tablets and cannot wait to have them each day. In this bottle there are 300 tablets, when starting off, it takes at least six weeks to get into the system, so please do not expect your pet to be jumping through hoops within the first few days. My Staffie is 23k so requires two tablets a day. What is beneficial and does speed up the process is double up the amount a day between 4-6 weeks. You will notice the difference doubling up. Go back to normal usage guidelines after that time. So the tablets strengthen bones, repairs damage, reduces i Marion and loosen up the joints for better mobility. Usually 300 tablets should last approx 9 months, however doubling up will be less the first time of using. It is normal for dogs sometimes can have lipped mussel bad wind, don’t be alarmed, it’s normal, but what isn’t normal, is if they get colicky pain, discontinue if this should happen, and check with your vets. Also if your dog is on a lot of veterinary medications, check with vets that you can use these tablets. Some prescribed medications are not meant to be mixed and can cause contradictions. Best to be safe. These tablets are exceptionally good and will support your dogs immune system. I have used lipped mussel and turmeric for years, and it’s good that the seller is combining the two ingredients.

I bought the Hip & Joint earlier this year for my GSD as his mobility had reduced and he definitely improved over 2 weeks.
I continued with the tablets over the next few months and asked my vet to check him over, he said he has arthritis in his ankles and hips and to give him the YU move tablets as they are the best.
I bought the YU move which were more expensive but after 4 weeks on them my dogs mobility had reduced again!
I have had him back on the HIP & JOINT now for 3 weeks and he has improved again so he is now staying on them

Bought these for my British bulldog, he’s 10 now and struggles with his joints, it got so bad that he couldn’t even climb 2 steps, we decided to try these before getting anything from the vet, we give him 2 tablets with each meal and he’s like a new dog, is able to manage a flight of stairs no problem, no limping after walks and overall he’s much happier. It took a couple of weeks to see the difference but we won’t be without these for him now, definitely recommend!!

My dog is getting on a bit now and he is not a spry as he was, getting creaking in his joints. I decided to try these supplements for him and started him off and after a few days there were no side effects that I could see, they didn’t upset his tummy at all either.
He has been having these daily now and I do think they have made a difference to his mobility, he seems a bit easier in his movements. He likes taking them each day and that is also a bonus. He seems to get on with them so I am happy with them and would therefore recommend them.

This product has totally transformed my elderly dogs lives.14.5 yrs and 13.5. Previously my eldest dog Tia groaned with every move but she’s been taking Canivet for nearly a year and is now very happy and active without the groans. The transformation has been amazing. Great value when compared to more expensive brands which have near enough the same amount of ingredients in. I have used these type of supplements b4 (not this brand) and I have noticed a difference in my dogs increase and ease of mobility.
Unfortunately my dog became suddenly very ill and had to be euthanized, so he never got to have any. But I would certainly recommend joint supplements for aging dogs with mobilty difficulties.

I bought these not expecting much, but to my amazment after just one week of taking these, my 9 years alsation/collie girl is suddenly puppy like again! She was getting very achy and stiff, especially in the evenings after her afternoon walk. It was painful watching her sometimes, but now she’s much more supple. I did not expect to see a difference for at least a month to six weeks, so I am really impressed with these. My only gripe would be that contrary to what it says on the jar, she will not accept them as treats. I have to heavily disquise them in food to get her to take them, but hey if that what it takes so be it. Can highly reconmmend these!

I have two Staffordshire bull terriers, one is 13 and one is 10. The 13 year old has been having quite a few problems lately with his legs so I thought I would give these a go. They seem to be working, he has been a lot more active and has had less slipping around the house.
One dog will take them without anything else whereas the other I just wrap in a little bit of bread and then he takes it with no problems.

We’ve got two dogs, both old now, and I’ve been giving them these tablets for about a fortnight and they should last a couple of months so not bad value. Our collie cross eats his mixed in with his dry food and seems quite happy with them. Our small terrier is very suspicious of anything new in her diet and ordinarily we either have to crush tablets or force feed her anything the vet gives us, but much to my surprise she’s eaten these mixed in with her wet and dry food. We’ve been giving them salmon oil every day for a couple of years now so as yet it’s difficult to see if there’s any improvement or deterioration but half the battle is getting them to eat anything that’s good for them so very happy with these tablets so far.

Nice large supply of of joint supplement for older dogs. This contains, amongst other active ingredients, Glucosamine and Chondroitin, which have really helped my dog in the past so I am sure these will continue to help her. The dog takes 2 a day and has no objection to catching them and eating them. They are also easy enough to hide in cheese or ham, etc..

These have lifted the stiffness off my friend’s dogs and they seem so much happier.
They actually line up every morning, happy to have these wrapped in a piece of ham, so it is easy to get them to take it. They obviously don’t taste bad.
The ingredients have made a big difference to these middle aged dogs, and they are moving much better and don’t seem to be in pain any more.

We’ve used various glucosamine, turmeric and green lipped mussel supplements for our dogs for a long time (including most often in joint complex similar to this one) as they’re large breeds so the extra support for healthy joints and bones is great for them. Our older dog now has more than enough through his general supplements and a vet recommended complex for his joints but these have been used for our younger dog in place of a very similar joint complex he was already taking to try this one out, with the only difference being that this also has chondroitin in it. Working form home mostly I’m with them every day and night and the main dog walker of the house, so am very quick to notice any changes in them and since replacing his previous ones with Canivet there certainly haven’t been any noticeable negative/side benefits and he has eaten them in his dinner each time without any problems. I know the benefits of our dogs supplementing with glucosamine, turmeric and green lipped mussel already so don’t need convincing on that front and likewise with most of the other active vitamins in here (MSM, collagen, manganese/magnesium, HA and both vitamins C and E) so would happily keep using these as the price seems pretty good with these lasting just over 3 months due to him needing three a day and not needing to double up during the initial 4-6week period as he’s already been taking a virtually identical complex, but this will vary depending on your dog’s weight and size and if they need to go through the loading stage for the first 4-6 weeks (very clear instructions are included for working this out) but either way it’s great value so would recommend.

As our working Labrador ages, we have supplemented his diet with join supplements, and this is another we have found good for him to remain as supple as we can manage. We offer one a day as a treat and he happily takes it, so it must taste reasonably good. Having done a lot of research, these listed ingredients are exactly what is needed for good joint health, they are particularly beneficial for the cartilage. It is hard to find all these ingredients together in one supplement, often you can only find one or two, but here you have the complete package, which is why I would recommend.

I have tried a few different brands of joint tablets for my dog now. He will eat anything, so as usual he had no problem eating these. I recommend these to help ease achy joints. My dog used to fall on the floor rather than lay down gently, but after taking these type of tablets he no longer struggles.
