How do I serve it to my dog?
CANIVET Probiotic for dogs is infused with natural chicken flavour to make it easy to serve.
Just sprinkle the appropriate amount onto your dog’s wet or dry food. Benefits will manifest in most dogs after approx. 6 weeks of regular, daily use, although it is sooner in many cases.
Daily serving size is determined by bodyweight:
- Up to 10kg – 1/2 a Scoop per Day
- 10-20kg – 1 x Scoop per Day
- 20-35kg – 2 x Scoops per Day
- 35kg+ Above – 3 x Scoops per Day

Sorts Issues Out Fast! Easy to use and measure, we use this like some of the more expensive, branded, pro-biotics that are on the market. Having dogs with sensitive stomachs, this is brilliant for either clearing up issues as soon as they occur or for if we are forced to change their feed. The pot says see the difference in 6 weeks, well we see the difference in 12 – 24 hours (after just one dose). We use it for 5 days in the event of issues to ensure that they are fully resolved before discontinuing and when changing feeds we use it for the entire change over period (around 7 days). This stuff is brilliant there is enough for 10 full treatments for our two dogs.

Wish it was a bit cheaper …. Has a long spoon so when the pot starts to empty you can still use it – you’d be surprised how many companies don’t factor in so 10/10 for ease of use. Dogs look good bu then using a lot of other good products so not sure how effective it is.

My 10 year old labrador cross, keeps getting an upset stomach, so thought I would try this product to see if it would settle her stomach. I’ve only used it a few times but I can see it has definitely made her poos much firmer, so very impressed so far. Smells very strongly of chicken when you open the tub, but had no problems with her not wanting to eat her food after it was added, so must be tasty! Canivet second order!
First recommended prebiotics by a vet. Researched and found canivet thought would give a try to see if helped flatulance and whinning dog that also has tummy upset possibly by diet even though grain free diet etc and certain mixers giving tummy upsets.
After about a week of using product noticed the flatulance had reduced and a less whinning happier dog.
We ran out kept meaning to order more until the whinning returned and the flatulance returned significantly after running out didn’t hesitate to purchase it again!
Just wished I’d ordered it before ran out but also wanted to see if the canivet really made a difference? It clearly does.
Powder Good value compared to tablet form and lasts longer, smells of chicken just mix in with food once a day!
